PETVALU
A clean tail, on camera
Pet Valu is a specialty retailer of pet food, treats, toys, and accessories with stores located throughout Canada. Pet Valu called on Ruckus to direct, cast, film, and edit a TV spot featuring its accessible and affordable dog baths, located in more than 700 retail locations.

Turn a dog bath into a story
The assignment was full-service video production on an accelerated schedule: pre-production, shooting, and post handled end to end, with three weeks from concept to final cut. Ruckus built the spot around the moment that sells it: a real dog, a real in-store bath, and the squeaky-clean payoff, directed, cast, and captured on location.
From muddy paws to money shot
Pre-production covered the concept, the casting, and the shot list that turned a dog bath into a story. The shoot meant directing talent, crew, and one very good dog on location. Post carried the edit, color, and sound cut to broadcast length and ready to run. Belly rubs were non-negotiable, every good set runs on them. Every frame lands on the same feeling: a happy dog, a happier owner, and a store that made it easy. That is the whole pitch, told in thirty seconds.

One clean, charming spot
Ruckus directed, cast, filmed, and edited the TV spot end to end, turning Pet Valu's in-store dog wash into the star of the show. The compressed three-week schedule was met without cutting the craft, and the finished spot was ready to run across a footprint of more than 700 stores in Canada and the U.S.
