01The Client

The name homeowners trust after the storm

TTLC, Inc. is a family owned exterior remodeling and storm restoration company serving Greater Chicagoland. What began as Tee Time Lawn Care in 2005 grew into a full roofing, siding, and gutter business, known for insurance claim expertise and a 4.9 star reputation across more than a thousand homeowner reviews.

Ruckus leads TTLC's marketing and runs its media, a partnership now two years strong and counting. The centerpiece is Storm Stories, a library of real homeowner recovery films, with an engine behind it that keeps a local contractor visible all year and ready the moment a storm hits.

02The Brief

Reputation without recognition

TTLC had the reputation. It needed the recognition. Its best marketing already existed, real homeowners it had carried through storms and insurance claims, and those stories needed to be captured and put on every screen. Awareness had to hold across a wide Chicagoland footprint, not spike after a storm and fade before the next one. And because hail and wind create demand in hours, the marketing had to recognize the moment and respond just as fast.

03Storm Stories

Real homes, real recoveries

Ruckus's studio team produced a library of testimonial style Storm Stories films, cut in thirty second, one minute, and two minute versions, alongside hero brand videos and drone cinematography of finished roofs. Six finished films are in market: the hero story in full length and thirty second cuts, plus homeowner testimonial cutdowns for Ron, Tate, Jim, and Harold.

A production shoot captured TTLC crews and completed projects across Chicagoland, with drone work documenting full roof replacements from above. The result is a deep, ownable content library, built entirely from TTLC's own work, that keeps every channel stocked and gives the brand a credible, consistent presence across paid social, YouTube, OTT, and broadcast.

04The Media

Always on, storm ready

Ruckus plans, buys, and runs TTLC's media as one connected system. Paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and YouTube keep TTLC visible across the footprint, tuned for reach and repetition, while OTT and connected TV placements carry the Storm Stories to broadcast style reach at efficient, programmatic rates.

When weather hits, the system sharpens. Ruckus pairs satellite roof imagery with hail tracking to focus outreach on storm hit neighborhoods, reaching the right homes inside the insurance claim window, and Klaviyo lifecycle email nurtures homeowners from first inquiry through a signed claim, so no lead goes cold.

05Al the Alpaca

A friendly face for the next chapter

Ruckus also rebuilt TTLC's identity as clean, scalable vector art and codified it in a full brand guideline system, one green, one voice, so the brand looks the same on a truck wrap, a door hanger, and a paid social ad.

The next chapter is a face. Al the Alpaca is a friendly, approachable brand character built to earn recall and warmth in a category that usually competes on price alone, soft where the category is hard. Al started as concept art exploring personality, wardrobe, and pose, then moved into a fully modeled and rigged 3D character TTLC owns outright, with an animated ad campaign in production ahead of his public debut.
