01The Client

Hospitality, amplified

Dream Hotels is a collection of design-forward boutique hotels, anchored by Dream Midtown and Dream Downtown in New York City and Dream Hollywood in Los Angeles. With striking interiors, rooftop scenes, and destination dining and nightlife, every property trades on the same promise: a stay that feels like part of the city itself.

Ruckus supported the Dream Hotels Group in its effort to increase digital brand equity and sales, managing creative social media marketing campaigns and implementing a cohesive social media advertising strategy across the portfolio, executed at high density and high volume, with immediate results.

02The Brief

One brand, three feeds, one goal

The brief broke into three parts. Build brand equity: give each property a social presence as distinctive as its interiors, and make the feeds a true extension of the Dream brand. Convert to bookings: put rooms, rates, and seasonal offers directly into the feed, and turn engagement into measurable purchases. And unify campaigns, organic content, and paid strategy across three properties and every major social platform.

03The Work

A New York holiday, booked room by room

For the peak holiday season, Ruckus managed seasonal promotional campaigns for Dream's New York properties, placing rooms from $199 a night directly into Instagram and Facebook feeds, with every placement tracked to the purchase. A single Dream Downtown Instagram ad returned 492% with six purchases made directly off the ad, and Dream Midtown's holiday ads returned 1,023% on Instagram and 544% on Facebook, nine purchases each.

Organic content gave the feeds a narrative of their own. Ruckus managed the group's presence across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, from the flagship group handles to each hotel's own profiles. Every Stay Has A Story introduced the brand's guest-first storytelling, its opening post drawing 2,010 likes, while the #MyInnerElephant social awareness campaign carried Dream's voice beyond the lobby.

Influencer partnerships put Dream properties in front of audiences in the millions, from lifestyle blogger Marianna Hewitt at 777,000 followers to personal blogger Janice Joostema at 1.3 million and Camila Coelho at 6.8 million, and Ruckus increased Instagram engagement by 74% within a two-month period.

04The Results

The feed became a front desk

From the start in peak holiday season through the traditionally quiet Q1 offseason, the numbers moved the right way. Campaign ROI climbed 21 points to 186%, bookings grew 30% into the offseason, and the group's following reached 152,402 across all platforms, built and engaged property by property.

Advertising paid its way, every holiday placement returned a multiple of its spend, topping out at a 1,023% return on a single campaign, and branded campaigns, organic content, and influencer partnerships ran as one cohesive system across Dream Downtown, Midtown, and Hollywood. Followers turned into guests.
